The Spaces Between Illuminated
The main lighting elements in the garden were three up-lighters positioned at the base of each of the Betula jacquemontii (Birch). Including these types of lights, allows visitors to use the garden well after the natural light has faded and the surrounding foliage cast fantastic shadows on the paving and fencing.
A number of floating candles were set in the rills and allowed to glide about on the surface. These provided a very soft light to complement the up-lit trees.
