Haven Construction
At the initial site visit to the walled garden in the Phoenix Park. The site for ‘Haven’ is selected, it is along the east wall of the Walled Garden.
Construction gets under way by starting the foundations of the central curved pathway of the garden. The sett edging of the pathway will run from the wall to the front of the garden, thickening up at either end. This line of setts will contain the gravel which will eventually fill the centre of the path.
Once the pathway is completed, the garden is now ready for the rest of the elements such as the sunken water feature which was originally placed on the left but this was changed later on in the construction.
